iamphil I'm new to Golden records and trying to figure things out. I use linux Mint instead of windows, so things are a bit different. I'm wanting to put all my albums in digital format on my computer. I need to change where Golden records saves the files. I have a second SSD drive (2tb) that I can save to. But can't find a setting to change to it. Any help would be appreciated.
borate Click the Options button in the toolbar to open the General tab in the Options window. General: Recording output folder Designate the default folder recordings will be saved to, or browse to a location.
iamphil Did that but files don't get saved. I don't know if my running linux is the problem, but 3 full sides of albums later, still no files saved.
borate Could be Linux? No way to check at this end. Try a bug report or message to the company, via the bottom section here.
iamphil Just checked that link. They do show Linux as an OS so it must be supported. Sent them a help request so we'll see what happens. Thanks. -0-0- Well, support just informed me that they don't support my OS so they can't help. No problem taking my money to buy it but can't be bothered to give a little help.
borate Did you search the drives for the files? Hard to believe that they wouldn't be saved...somewhere.
iamphil Looks like WavePad only installs if I use Wine. (Program to run windows programs on linux system)
