For a variety of reasons, mostly due to privacy concerns, I have left the windows world for Linux Mint. Overall, it is going very well. Well that is, except for Videopad. I can't get it to run 100% in Linnux Mint 22.1. I tried the virtual box method and made a windows virtual machine, but then I am back to the privacy issues. I have VP running using bottles, but it does have problems. And they are very weird. For example, when I take an image file and apply the Ken Burns effect to it, I lose the image of the picture on the track. Everything is great until I add the effect. Then the image on the track is just a gray box with no image. And if you try to preview the track, all you have is a dark screen. But remove the effect, and the image comes back. Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?
I know that Linux is not officially supported, but I really hate to go away from Videopad. But if I can't get it to run, I guess I will have to.
Thanks!
Dave
