Which WavePad-Edition do I need to do FFT-Analysis? Master- or Standard-Edition?

Hello,

I'm new here and I have an question to the specialists of WavePad.
I used the Demo-version of WavePad to do FFT- and Live-FFT-Analysis and that worked fine. Now the program said that I have to buy the Master-Edition to do FFT furthermore.
That's ok for me and I want to buy WavePad, but which Version do I need?
I don't need the SFX-library including WAV-Data and Music-Data and the VST-Plugin I don’t need too, and in addition it doesn’t work on my Mac-Computer.

So my final question ist: Can I do FFT-Analysis with the Standard Version of WavePad?

Thank you very much in advance.

Ai has this to say...

Yes, you can perform FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) analysis with the Standard Version of WavePad. WavePad includes FFT analysis tools in its feature set, allowing users to separate audio into its frequency components1 3. The software provides both FFT and TFFT (Time-Based FFT) analysis capabilities, which are accessible through the "Tools" menu.

Thank you very much, borate, for your quick and clear answer 🤗.
So I buy now the WavePad Standard Edition.

Keep in mind that Ai isn't infallible. You can also check with the company... https://tinyurl.com/5553tc4e

Hello borate,

I now bought the WavePad Standard Edition and you are absolutely right: It provides both FFT and TFFT 😁. Thank you again 👍!

… sorry, I mean thank you, Ai 🙂.

P.S.: Since 3 weeks, I‘ve been in contact with NCH software support. The support always respond, which is very fine, but my question was unfortunately not answered until today from support.
