Thanks, Borate. I've yet to try proxy editing, but am prepared to do so. I'm just not sure that 1080/60f files will be larger than my usual 4K/30f files. I guess I could do a quick test and find out.
School me on slo-mo, if you would. In editing, could it be as simple as slowing a 1080/60f clip's speed to 50% and still get no image degradation for a final exported video of 1080/30f? Or is there some exponential factor in this? I'd not slow everything, of course, but do so here-and-there in specific reef scenes or speed ramps.
