It looks like SoundTap is detecting the driver correctly, but it's not actually receiving any audio from Windows. I've run into similar issues on Windows 11, especially after major updates, where Stereo Mix appears available but doesn't pass audio through to recording applications.
Here are a few things I would check:
• Make sure Stereo Mix is enabled in the Windows Sound Control Panel and set as the default recording device.
• Verify that audio isn't being routed through a Bluetooth device or a virtual audio driver.
• Run SoundTap as Administrator.
• Check that microphone and recording access for desktop apps is enabled under Windows Privacy & Security settings.
• If you're using Spotify, try disabling hardware acceleration, as it can sometimes conflict with audio recording software.
Windows 11 can be surprisingly creative when it comes to audio routing. 😅 Sometimes everything appears to be configured correctly, but one hidden setting simply refuses to cooperate.
Hopefully one of these checks helps narrow down the cause of the problem and gets your audio recording working again.
