Editing issue

For some reason every time I edit any video the first frame in the edited result is always from the original file and I can't remove it. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong. For example if I have a video file with titles at the beginning and I cut them out the resulting exported video always has the very first frame from the original file.

Use the 'edge' buttons to position the cursor directly on a split point...

Use the 'frame' buttons to scroll back and forth. Stop where there's no extra content, then trim...

For precision, expand the slider at the right-bottom of the window...

If this isn't the issue, install this release, where your result can't be replicated. For one-time licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. You can always revert.

Many thanks for the prompt response. I've edited the clip as you suggested and still got the same result. Downloaded the release you suggested but still have the same result.

Interestingly I still have version 11.95 and when I use this the problem does not occur. Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

BTW I'm using a MAC.

The release linked above is for Windows, so this may be a MAC issue. In what version does it occur?

Share the file, and mention exactly what you are trying to eliminate. We'll check it out...

Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, right-click the link and Share or Copy. Copy the result and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, click SHARE | SHARE and change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view.**
