Can't open DNG-file from Pentax K-3

I have a Pentax K-3 camera (color), and DNG files from that camera did not open in PhotoPad Editor V13.64 on an iMac 27" with macOS Monterey.

The same problem with Pentax PEF-file-format.

Following Error message came up: Error - can file not open

Try a conversion with this free utility.

I have pictures and not videos.

The problem is the actual version (13.64) of PhotoPad. With older versions (13.59) does the Problem not exist.
