Adding green screen to an existing video

Being new to the effects in VideoPad, this may be something that it is not capable of. But I have an existing video, and I'm trying to add a green screen behind the main subject. It lets me outline the main subject, but that's all it does. No matter what color(s) I choose. There doesn't seem to be a button or anything that lets me actually see the green screen behind the subject. How do I get it to show the actual green screen if it can do that?

I'm using VideoPad Professional V. 4.48 on Windows 10.

For Chromakey (Green Screen) to succeed an image must have high contrast between subject and background, and the subject can't contain the background color, which doesn't have to be green.

For example... Changing the background of content that is not shot in that manner requires different software.

Place the new BG content on track 1, the green screened image on track 2. Click the track 2 FX icon, choose green screen, and adjust sliders for best presentation.
