Hi. I have been trying to use version 16.47 to read an existing DVD and split up and export clips as .mp4 files
On adding the .VOB file from the DVD, only the first 15seconds of audio is imported. Silence ensues for the next 30 mins. VLC plays the DVD perfectly and can export the audio as .mp3 (I have tried disabling the normalize audio on import function)
As a workaround, I separated and deleted the imported audio file and added the VLC .mp3 file to the project. The clip review and sequence preview play the video and audio perfectly, but when exporting part of the sequence as an mp4 file, the audio is out of sync.
I have read and tried many "solutions" from the forum for both problems, without success.
Videopad does everything I want for preserving my home movies, but I can't spend more days investigating, and working around your audio issues, which seem to have been ongoing for some time already.
