I've been using WavePad for years, and currently am using WavePad Masters Edition v19.69 on a 2021 MacBook Pro running MacOS 15.0.1 -- which has built-in security that's driving me insane. My old MacBook Pro had to be replaced, so I bought this "new" one recently and it required an update to the latest MacOS, which then required an update to the latest version of WavePad. I have no problems opening the app, using it, or saving files.... but those files *all* trigger "cannot be verified" alerts that prevent them from being opened unless I open WavePad and then open the file from within the app. (I've also tried using Audacity -- sorry! -- and it also can only open the files if I first open the app.) I need to be able to play most of these files (primarily MP3 or WAV) with QuickTime, but even when I jump through the hoops necessary to open an "unverifiable" file, MacOS refuses to allow it. Does anyone else have this problem, and does anyone (please!!) have a fix or workaround?
