An alternative to DVDs is simply copy the files to a USB stick. Faster and more dependable. My TV will play them as will many other standalone devices.
If DVD is still your choice...
1. Use VP to export six individual mp4 files
2. Insert a blank DVD in the drive, preferably a DVD-RW (read/write) that's compatible with your player, so a coaster isn't created.
3. Click the DVD drive letter at the left side of Explorer.
You may see this...
Choose "mastered" The Explorer window, at the right, should now indicate that there are Files Ready to be Written.
4. Drag the files from where you saved them to the DVD drive letter.
The files should now be listed in the DVD drive folder and a prompt may appear that Files Are Ready to be Burned.
4. Right-click the DVD drive letter and click on Burn to disc. Follow the prompts.
The result may or may not play in a standalone device but should be okay on a PC.
A DVD disc did not play on my entertainment system/TV in a Blu-Ray player, but another burn to a CD/RW did succeed.
