Automatic bar lines

Once I have established the time signature and gone beyond the first bar, it would be easy for Crescendo to add bar lines to fit as I add notes. I have a feeling I saw this behavior once.

Is this possible at the moment? Would it be good idea?

Hello Colin.

Crescendo does add more bars as you add notes. If you reach the end of the page, keep adding notes and a new page will be added.

When I go back and change the length of a note, is there a feature in Crescendo to automatically move bar lines, so they are correct?

Can Crescendo automatically change the length of notes that don't fit properly in a measure, by shortening the last note and carrying it over past the new bar line that crescendo inserts, and tying it to a new note it inserts after the new bar line? (This would save me a lot of work as I make changes.)
