Pixelated image at the beginning

Sylvain_Eckhardt

Hello! I come again with problem with pixelated image. The exported videos has always about half a second of fade in from pixelated image to normal. The problem occured recently everytime (and never before) and only with the first clip of the sequence. It occurs when on the clip is applied a video effect or many effects. In this example it is zoom, but I tried with just little changes in color balance and there were the same pixelated images. What to do?

Not seeing pixelation here, whether exported at your 10000 or the Default quality settings. What VP version is being used? Test the current release.

For one-time licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If there's an issue, you can always revert.

I use v 16.09 and I purchased the updated version in march 2024. Should we really update and pay a new version every 6 month to fixed that kind of problems? 🤔 I haven't had that pixelation problem before, might not be due to the version I use.

Tested your project with version 16.09 (64-bit) here and it looked just fine.

In OPTIONS | ADVANCED tab, try changing the GPU Video Processor setting to None (CPU only). If that works it may hint at a conflict with your video adapter.

Stick with the version that's doing the job. But you should be able to update to this release without paying. It's within the six-month grace period.

Ignore any virus warnings.

I already updated the 16.39 as you suggested before. Will this release be free?

If it launched without prompting to register you should be good to go. At the top-left it should say

Yes, should be ok, thanks!
