Clips randomly switched around?

Hi, I've been using VideoPad for a while now, and this is the first time this has happened. I opened my project today and found that almost all of my clips were shuffled around. For example, I had a photo of a monkey at one point, and a photo of a dog. The monkey photo has been replaced with the dog (including the effects that the dog photo had), whereas the dog photo is now a short video clip that shows up later.

This is not a problem once I export the video, as the exported version has all the clips in the right spots. I am just a bit confused why they are inconsistent in my timeline.
