Swap a clip on the timeline for another

Hi again,

I wondered if there is any feature that I'm missing that can swap a clip on the timeline with another - something similar to the 'Replace Clip File' option, but just swapping the one block on the timeline for another? I hope I have explained this clearly enough.

Thanks for answering @[deleted]. This is what I have used, but seems to replace the file used, and every instance of that clip on a timeline. I had hoped there might be an option to swap out just one instance rather than all?

Drag the unwanted clip back into the bin. It will be deleted from the timeline.

Then use the ||> or <|| buttons under the preview window to line up the cursor at the join where the clip was.

In the bin, right-click the new clip and Place on Sequence at Cursor.
