I used to use Proshow Gold for my slideshows, but now that's now obsolete, I've downloaded the free version of Photostage to see what it's like, with the view of buying the pro version if it's any good. I'm finding that it's horrendously slow to use. Anything I do on it takes ages - even doing the most basic of things like selecting a slide takes about 10 seconds to do, and adding a blank slide takes 20 seconds to do, which makes it unusable. The problem appears when you add an image to the slideshow.

W11 Pro
Intel i5-9400F 2.90GHz x 2
32GB RAM
NVIDIA Fe Force GTX 1650 4gb Graphics card
Any suggestions as to what might be causing this issue would be much appreciated.
