Hi everyone! New here...
I'm wanting to edit some horizontal videos that I bought from AtmosFX that I intend to use for a Halloween display. The display will be a 3-foot inflatable white ornament (turned upside-down and placed within a little Xmas tree base guard so that it looks like a crystal ball (Halloween) or a snow globe (Xmas). I'm wanting to mask out the outer periphery of the video (sorry, AtmosFX calls them "digital decorations") so that only a circular area of the video remains in the center so that it will fit upon the round display screen (the ornament).
For those who might be familiar with them, in particular I'm wanting to take a video from Paranormal Passage ("PP_StartleScare1_Wall_Spotlight_H"), which is a horizontally-oriented 16:9 video, and make it circular. (This is the one with the skeletal face and two skeletal hands that appear to push out at you from a rubbery surface texture, so that it looks like the image is attempting to push out of the wall or whatever surface you're projecting onto. This one is in "spotlight" mode, which illuminates a wide area, but not the entire 16:9 area. Still, it extends beyond the circular projection area and I wish to mask all that extraneous area out.)
...Ideas?
Thanks!
Todd
