Hi Everyone,
I am relatively new to VideoPad. I am currently running v13.80.
I have assembled a video from a collection of clips, all neatly strung together. These clips have some text and images that are overlaid in the video as it plays. Naturally, the text and images are aligned with the timing of the video clips.
Well, I discovered that I need to shorten the very first clip in the video and then splice in a small clip in the very front. But when I do that, the corresponding texts and images get "unattached" from the timing of the video clips with which they are associated. Unless I can find a solution, I'll have to re-align all the text and images after I trim and insert at the beginning of the video.
Is there some way to link/attach/bind the text and images tracks to the corresponding video so when something in the video shifts, all the text and images shift too? Or is there a way to insert a clip in a way that says, "shift all the other tracks together"?

Well ... that was quick. I should have waited a few minutes before posting my question.
I discovered that I can (1) select the first clip in the video, (2) press Ctrl-A (select all), and then (3) click/drag all the video clips, texts, and images all at the same time down (or up) the timeline. At that point, I can insert my new clip at the beginning and trim it as needed and everything appears to keep its proper timing.
My apologies for the interruption.
Thanks
