EmblemBalm Hello, When I upload my video to VideoPad for editing, everything except for the audio is uploaded properly. I just get static noise, but when I view the video anywhere else, the audio plays just fine. Can someone assist me with this?
borate What version of VP is being used? Let's see a sample file. Takes only minutes to share... Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, right-click the link and Share. Copy the result and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view.**
Barrister I am having the same, or very similar issue, using v.10.35 on a win10 laptop. I have 4 .mp4 files and in each, the audio just quits about 3-4 mins in... You can see where it terminates on the audio track. I can share a screenshot of it. These play fine on VLC and on my old videopad (v.2.12) I have on an old win7 machine.
borate If you paid for 10.35 go here and find the latest release dated within the six-month free update period. Download it and install. Ignore any virus warnings. Or, try the current version, whether licensed or not. If that doesn't solve the problem, come back here.
Barrister Thanks, yes I paid for 10.35 on April 23, 2021, so I think this file should be exactly six months later: videopad-10-95-2021-10-23.exe -- am I right? Do I need to uninstall the old or will it install over the old version ? Thanks, Barrister
borate Looks to be about right. If your registration isn't accepted, go with a slightly earlier release. No need to uninstall.
