Please install this release.
If your project then prompts that it will not load, open the folder on the PC where the VPJ file was saved.
Make a copy of that file. Right-click on it press <ctrl-C>, to copy. Then right-click an open space in that folder and press <ctrl-V> to paste.
This copy will appear. Open it in Windows Notepad. Change the # in the very first line to read version=12. Save the file.
Now, using Videopad version 13.09, double-click the new VPJ. Ignore the warning message, and your project will load.

Shortly, a revised release will be available, but there's no mandate to update if this is working well.
For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If there's an issue, you can always revert.
