Image Fade Out

I have version 13.80 and trying to figure out how to Fade In and Fade Out an image. I don't have the options link a video clip. I also looked in filters and did not see anything.

If it's a standalone clip there should be fade icons... If it's the beginning clip, the fade IN icon appears; if at the end, the fade OUT.

Fades can also be programmed by keyframing the TRANSPARENCY effect...

Various fade TRANSITIONS can be applied between clips...
