Auto cutout/Backround Effects?

Hi there!

In the What's new section in the version 2024 it says there's a new feature called Auto cutout/Backround Effects. It would have an AI based tool to remove backround from video or photo.

It states "Double-click on your footage, Go to video and select Auto cutout/Backround Effects in Quick editing menu.

The problem is I can't find it. And when checked, my Videopad is up to date.

Maybe a screenshot to show, how to find that effect?

In recent Videopad releases there's a new audio tool... Haven't spotted one for video.

You certain that this wasn't in some other NCH program? The VP current version is 13.75. Let's see the 'what's new' page that you reference.

I don't know how to add screenshots to these posts. Haven't really used these kind of forums. Just click the megaphone icon in the Power director, it shows a man and a kid in a superhero costume, and tells me about Auto cutout/Backround Effects. It says it's a new AI backround remover. When I start the program, it says it's a 2024 edition. Version is 22.0.2213.0 and version type is 365.

There's your problem; different software - that's not Videopad. Check the manufacturer's forum or look here.

If it's not in Videopad, why is it in that programs "What's new" info with no mention of Photopad? Also, it says Double-click on your footage, Go to video and select Auto cutout/Backround Effects in Quick editing menu." I don't think Photopad handles videos. Also, I don't have Photopad, so I can't be mixing those two up.

Yes, thank you! I think it wasn't there, when I searched for it, or I didn't look hard enough. The video didn't help, but now I found the tool on the FAQ-page. The tool still can't be found on my Power director, but my subscription is ending, and I haven't renewed it yet.
