I've been trying out this program.. however, there is something important I must be able to do and I am pretty sure the software can do it... I just cant seem to find the right option, menu or function to do it... here is the process:
1. answers immediately
2. Greets the user
3. if offices closed (non office hours) redirect to mailbox
4. if offices open, presents menu.
5. if the user presses "6" (talk to a person) "redirect call"
6. If no one at "extension 6" answers the phone, redirect to voicemail box
i am using a voice modem. There is one telephone line connected to the modem and a telephone set connected to the same modem. When the user chooses option six... the phone to which I want to "redirect the call" is the one connected directly to the modem.
I know I could just pick up the phone and talk to the caller, however I need some way to know that the caller chose to speak to a person... and that could be by making he headset ring, playing a message on the speakers, a pop up window on the screen or something like that.
I have tried leaving the extension phone number blank amongs other things... but generaly the program just ends up hanging up the call.
Any ideas.
