Moving shots

After breaking down a tape into a number of shots, is there any way to put the resultant shots into a file? Moving them up and down the line is very cumbersome and annoying.

Please explain more fully where these shots came from, and where they are now. Are they in the bin (top-left)?

How do I move more than one slide at a time and not just to the front or back? Thank You

Are the slides contiguous? Select them all, then drag.

To select individual clips hold down <ctrl> while clicking. To select a range, click the first, then hold down <shift> and click the last.

Clips can be grouped by selecting them, then right-clicking on one of the selected files and choosing GROUP FILES. They will move in concert.

Clips can also be selected on the timeline, then dragged to the bin. They will vanish from the timeline, and can be replaced there from the bin clips.
