Can't open password protected document

I've been sent a pdf which is password protected. When I enter the password in PicoPDF I get the following error message "The PDF password is not correct. Please check the state of the key Caps Lock and try again." When I cancel, it says "The file is encrypted".

However, if I enter the same password in Adobe Acrobat Reader, the document opens just fine.

This is a deal breaker of a problem. I'm using the demo version - could that be the problem?

Double-check that you are using the correct password. Passwords are case-sensitive so check that you are using the correct uppercase and lowercase letters. If you are still not able to open the file I suggest you to contact NCH technical support for assistance, here is the link:
