How to create youtube shorts, I have only landscape format video

Hallo Team

I would like to create some youtube shorts, I have however only landscape format video.

Which setting should I use at best for this?

I don't want any block block, I just want to basically make only the slot visible (reduced) out of the landscape

like this one here

I want to move the video in the right position only and basically just ignore the sides (they can be cut off)

one just needs to make sure the last push is really into the center otherwise it gets cut again and one sees a black line on the side

I did not the crop in 9:16 but am struggling now to export it in such a format as well.

Any ideas how to "position" the cropped area perfectly in the centre so that I can cut the whole clip then accordingly?

Each clip may have to be positioned as above.

But there are export settings to experiment with. They affect the entire project...
