Move a slide

Hi all, I'm not sure how to search for this since it always shows me how to move a slide's position on the timeline. I have a landscape format show with some portrait format images leaving an empty background left and right of the image. I have added a background image but I would like to move the foreground image left or right (not necessarily animated, just a change of position) just for some variety. Is such a thing possible?
