Lock/Hide/Show menu bar in a fullscreen clip preview

Dear all,

When I open a clip preview in fullscreen there is the menu bar that appears ... then it hides if I don't move the mouse ... then it shows again as soon as my mouse moves.
It really is annoying so far.
Is there a way to either lock the menu bar or to hide it even if I move my mouse ?

As an alternative to fullscreen, undock the window instead and drag the borders to their limits.

In full-screen mode try the space bar to start/stop play.
