Print does not work correctly

Hello, I've purchased this music notation editor two days ago, now trying to get familiar with it.

My problem: The printer only delivers blank sheets, I first have to convert into pdf, then it works. Is this normal or do I have to adjust something before?

To print all pages, select File->Print, or select the Print toolbar item, or use the shortcut key combination Ctrl+P.

All notation will be printed, on-screen widgets and coloring will not.

Is the printer working with other programs when you print?
