Is there a way to get rid of the outlines that appear when adding effects?

I've been struggling to find anything on this since I can't find the right phrasing to avoid tutorials on how to get rid of black borders around a video ^^'
Images show what I mean, one is less visible because it's fully lined, the other (blue one) is meant to have no outlines between the two bits - they always appear when I add an effect.

Don't spot any outlines on either image though the one at the left has a white line at the top. What effect is added?

The images in your link don't fill a 16:9 frame, which leaves black borders top and bottom...

If the CROP TO ASPECT RATIO effect is applied it will look like this...

That effect may not be available in 7.51, which is very old, so some manual cropping or sizing may suffice.

Check out the latest for the A/R effect, and see if the issue persists.

Sorry, the boarders on the top/bottom aren't the issue (Just appeared when I cropped it) ^^'
I want to get rid of the black lines in the blue/between the white and the brown outline which aren't there in the art.

Seeing aliasing but no black lines in the image that you linked above. Draw an arrow, pointing to those lines, and resubmit.

Did you test this on the latest VP version?
