11.8 isn't loading audio

italiangen

Thanks for taking my question. I just upgraded to 11.8 from 8.x. The audio is not processing. The file is only 9 minutes.

Any thoughts?

The linked file is 21:49 and loads fully in less than ten seconds in version 11.80, 32- or 64-bit. Try installing this release.

Thank you Borate. I reinstalled then rebooted and all is fine.

Borate, Are there new video tutorials for the 11.8 version and its new improved capabilities? PeterD

None that come to mind, other than simply investigating on your own, and checking the current HELP file... https://tinyurl.com/235h5df4

Borate,

I just received this input from a user. I too noticed the volume is low. Has this been reported on your end?

11.8 also has a problem of not normalizing some sound clips. Some sound clips become very low volume. I reverted to 11.73 and things were ok once more...

Yes, that's being addressed. See Lancelot's thread.
