Debut no longer records video when Screen Capture recording

Appears screen capture no longer works correctly. I can capture my screen if I'm just doing key strokes and browsing web pages, but if I open a video (ex: youtube, hulu, netflix, etc). the video play back shows a black box where the video should be. Audio is fine. This appears to be a recent development, I run Windows 11. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi,

Most paid streaming services have DRM protection on their content, meaning that video capture programs like Debut won't be able to capture it. Debut won't override DRM protection as that implies copyright infringement.

Okay, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get Debut to work again. It used to for me on Hulu, Peacock & Paramount Plus, now it doesn't on any of them. I refuse to accept a shrug. What have you tried?

What browser is used to view these sites? What result is seen from Debut?

I'm sure it varies. My set-up is Windows 11, Chrome latest version & Debut used to do Hulu, Peacock & Paramount Plus, all, for me. Now, RECENTLY, it will do none. It correctly captures the title card & all of the commercials but all other show content yields a black screen with correct audio.

I'm desperate for suggestions of things to try. Thanks.

This is not a Debut fault.

I had the same experience with the dedicated video streaming sites, but until yesterday I was able to make at least some of them work by running their apps within a browser. Today that no longer works.
