Anonymous effect doesn't work [Fixed]

Wavepad 16.28

Editing a wave audio (exported by videopad: Timeline -> audio track -> Edit with WavePad, for example) I can select a portion where someone speaks and apply sound effects like "Big Guy" and it's ok, But when I try "Anonymous effect" the audio preview inside the effect setup page is ok but the "Apply" button doesn't change anything.

Wav file remains the same.

It's a bug or I skipped something?

I opened a ticket on April 27th. I don't have paid support but only a recurring subscription so, as described on your site, I have a low priority.

The problem is a bit particular and I have attached a video to the ticket to show how I reproduce it (practically always, at least 2 years from my first wavepad purchase).
The only thing I would like to know is not if or when it will be fixed but if the devs have managed to see it too.
