Version 11.26, worth it?

Am running v10.96 64bit on Windows 7, are there any significant changes in v11.26 worth paying £37 GBP for?

It is around 7 months since I last paid NCH so assume the discounted price is as good as it gets.

The versions list just says mainenance release for all releases since 10.96 except one that says

Clickable grayed buttons on the tabbed toolbar

whatever they are???

Only you can decide. Newer versions can be test driven whether licensed or not. Just retain your old installer and registration info.

There's no mandate to upgrade, and it can be wise to hold off for a time to see if quirks surface. 10.96 was a good build - so is 11.26.

Each time a release is installed (no need to re-download) there may be slightly different features, such as specific effect templates.

Mmmm fair comment, but when the upgrade discount is so small, us users will tend to wait until value for money improves.

That's why it's wise to give new versions a workout. Under-the-hood improvements may not be initially apparent.

For example: rendering/exporting speed enhancements over the years, owing to GPU utilization. Or the 64-bit releases, which can better handle large, complex projects.
