Why is there a glitch every time I do a cut? (please refer to https://tinyurl.com/44j92enb)

Julia_Kot

Every time I use "split" it creates like a 1-2 second glitch of both audio and video. There's like 80% of the frames missing at random at the start of the video after the cut. Why? How do I fix it?

What version? Did you update, per the instructions in the other thread? Share your project, as mentioned, and we'll get to the bottom of this.

Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER.
Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file.
Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view"
Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared.

* Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.

I stopped working on that other project for today. I'll reply to you back on that other thread when I complete the instructions.

For now can you help me with this problem? I'm on version 11.22. Is that the newest one?

To offer a suggestion, we must see what you're working on - per the upload and sharing instructions - even if the project isn't complete.

But first, use this link to upgrade to 11.26, which is the latest.

I will update VideoPad but I cannot send you the video, I want to keep it private, it's not a big problem anyway, I'll find a way around it.

This does not apply to the other thread, I will be happy to send a link to that as soon as I get back to working on it.

Thank you.

Understand that the video can be shared privately via the Personal Messenger. Click the envelope at the top right of this forum and search for borate.

No one else will see your work. But the 11.26 update may solve this issue.

Good luck!
