DVD will not play on DVD Player

I upgraded to the most recent version of VP today and once I export project to a DVD Movie disk, it will not play on a DVD player. It will play on my computer. Any help appreciated!

What version is that - look in the left-bottom corner of the VP window?

To make a DVD that plays on a standalone device click the chevron on the right of the button and choose MOVIE... Is that what you did?

I am using v 11.20. I chose DVD Movie Disc.

Exactly the same here, and it worked well on a Samsung Blu-Ray player. Test on another player if possible.

You might also try Express Burn, after creating a video file in Videopad.

Is Express burn an additional cost? I really don't want to spend another $50 for something when what I have already purchased should work.

You can try Express Burn for free. It will also burn IMAGE files that are created with VP.

When you burned did you choose any Menu features? Describe which ones and the exact procedure used.

Did the DVD player display any menus from the disc that did not respond when selected?

Just tested again here using a custom menu and it succeeded without issue.

When testing, a DVD/RW rewritable disc is a wise choice, to avoid making coasters.

Express Burn states that it only burns to CD with the free version.

I selected DVD/DVD Movie Disc. Put in disc name/burner/image file/chose DVD to save/NTSC/wide screen = Create

Upload the image file to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
