Sheryn I have just upgraded from 7.59 to 7.65 as I was interested in the new trim feature. But I have not been able to find instructions or work it out in the program. How does it work please?

Sheryn Thank you tech support, but your answer only explains how to trim a video using the VideoPad program. Debut 7.65 is supposed to have a new trim recording feature according to the changelog. Where can this be found please?
Fred28 Under the recordings tab, in the latest version of the program you should find the TRIM at the top.

Fred28 You might want to uninstall the program and erase any Debut folder left behind from this locations: - C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\ - C:\ProgramData\NCH Software\ - C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\ (if you can't find the ProgramData or AppData folders, set Windows to show hidden files and folders as per https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files) You can then install the program again and see if the options shows up for you, if not you might want to contact NCH Support here: https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html
