recording on tracks not in synch

Track 1 is recorded and is fine.

However when I try to record on track 2 the music is completely off synch.

any idea why this is happening?

You can try by reinstalling the software

Reinstalled software and tracks are still not in synch. Does original download need to be deleted prior to reinstalling software? Thanks
