Why does Minecraft 1.8 crash and Debut stops recording when I press F11?

I'm trying to record Minecraft videos, but when I go into fullscreen mode (F11), Minecraft crashes, and Debut stops recording. Does anyone know any fixes for this?

I am also using Windows 10 version 2004

Yes, when I try to put it in fullscreen and press F11, or put it in fullscreen manually, it stops recording.

What format are you using to record? I would recommend you to use the Fast Capture mode to record your game. In case you still have issues,

In attempt to fix this issue, please try the steps below:

Uninstall Debut, then delete 3 folders named "Debut" and 1 named "Components" from these locations:
**C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Debut\
**C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Debut\
**C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components
**C:\ProgramData\NCH Software\Debut\
**If you can't find any of the folders, just continue.

After that, restart your computer and reinstall the program using this link: https://www.nchsoftware.com/capture/debutpsetup.exe

Once done, restart your system one more time and try again.

Very cool! I'm also recording gameplay of Minecraft ultima version APK, but when I go into full screen mode, it crashes — similar to the situation in this thread. I wonder if toggling F11 might affect the recording API on Windows? If anyone knows how to keep the operation smooth in full screen or has a Debut setting that bypasses this issue, I would appreciate it

Hey Patrickkhail, you can try using borderless windowed mode instead of full screen it looks almost the same but works much better for recording. Also, try recording the full screen instead of just the game window and make sure your graphics drivers are updated. If it still crashes, you might want to try OBS, as it usually handles full screen recording more smoothly.
