What version of Videopad is being used? Look for that info at the bottom-left of the screen or at start up.
Please share the file that won't load. Upload it to a free server, such as MS Drive or Google Drive, get a shareable (public) link, copy that link and post it here or message me privately via the envelope at the top-right of this forum. If using Google, click on "restricted" and change that to "anyone with link can view."
Problems are usually resolved quickly.
