Exported video freezes at first cut

Audio track continues as normal.

I see at least two threads on this forum already about this issue, marked resolved.

Not resolved for me.

I'm using Unlicensed Non-Commercial 8.67

If you have not registered the software, Install this version and see if that doesn't fix it.

If you have paid, licensed users can upgrade free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.

Unlicensed versions will continue to function, but with limitations. The trial period will expire. When mp4 export is blocked, try AVI.

Better still...license the software.

Free is a very good price. Limitations include some effects and export formats. When bugs are replicated they are quickly fixed or remedies suggested here.

I'm having the same issue as described in the original post. I'm using the licensed version 8.67 (I just upgraded this past week). I assemble the online worship service for my church and usually have about 6 clips I'm putting into the project. When I had the project finished, I exported an MP4 file and discovered that the video froze on the second clip although the audio continued normally. The video came back at about the 18 minute mark and was properly synced to the audio. I tried making another MP4 using a new file name and got the same result. I was only able to solve this by installing an older version (8.45) which I still had the install file for.

Update to this version and the problem should vanish. v8.67 has been supplanted but owing to the weekend in Australia the server may not yet be updated..

Free isn't a good price for something which doesn't work.

Are you saying this will be quickly fixed in the unlicensed version?

When fixes are made they apply to both the unlicensed and purchased versions. The difference between them is that registration enables all features. You can always test the latest for free.
