Lose mp3 tag info on save

When I save edited mp3 files all the tag information is lost (title, track number, artist....). This doesn't happed with Adobe Audition...any suggestions?

I have just loaded the latest version 3.02 and have the same problem.

ie when I save the file (as new) and look at the folder I saved it in, the ID3 tags don't get display in the appropriate columns?

.added, nor do the tags come though when I stream the mp3 file from the host.

I think we have found a bug(ette). I've just noticed that if you use

FILE>>SAVEAS it doesnt save the tags, but if you use

FILE>>SAVE it does.

Work around is therefore to use File-SaveAs (& give it the new file parameters,

Then repeat with File-Save

WavePad is a very cool tool!

...however, it still does not retain the ID3 tags such as TLEN and TIT2 even though I have tried the Save As / Save routine. Is there a way to retain all of the tags when saving the edited MP3 file?

Well, I have now and purchased and downloaded WavePad Masters version 3.03, and I am dissappointed to find that the ID3 tags are still being lost after an edit.

Any suggestions?
