Text and Titles

I have a number of slides that are vertically oriented and do not take up the entire slide frame leaving large black areas on both sides of the image.
In another program I could use these areas for comments or text.
Any ideas how I could do this in Photostage??

Before adding the slides you want to use for your slideshow, I would recommend you to add a blank slide (it could be blank). Then, over the blank slide go to Effects > Image Overlay > adjust the Size, Margin and Alignment. Once done, add Text Overlay and adjust it depending on your needs.
