using a custom .ttf font

hi does anyone know if i can use a custom .ttf font and if i can how do i import it into the software and enable it

Hi,

Please use the following instruction:

1) Click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel

2) Click on Appearance and Personalisation -> Font

3) Check the font you want to download and click FontSettings -> check the option Allow font to be installed using a shortcut -> Click OK button

After that, the font should be listed in the program.

but the lingering question - where does one set the font that Crescendo uses? I have several installed within the Windows settings, but can not find where to change the font used by Crescendo...

thanks but you didn't answer the question. I wasn't trying to change TEXT fonts... but the actual font for the music notes! Can that font be changed? If so, how do I change the NOTES FONT so I can use a shape-note font?

Sorry, but that appears it's possible in the program yet. The only fonts that can be changed are the text/lyric fonts. As previously advised, you can always submit your suggestion here: https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html
