WP won't record to mp3

I have WP installed on two machines, and like the software and use it regularly. However for four consecutive days WP has refused to record newly edited files as mp3's. Recording as ogg or WAV is fine. What has gone wrong with the mp3 functon?

You may try to reinstall the program and confirm if the issue persists. Are you using Windows or Mac? In case you are using Mac and download it from the AppStore, you may need to known there is a know issue related to files saved as mp3 format, so perhaps, that may be the case (only if you download it from the AppStore).
