Voice out of sync

I've just come across this problem yesterday where the voices on the video are out of sync with the speakers lips after splitting and joining video clips. Is there any way I can fix that?

Does this happen every time you split and then join any video clips, or just with a particular video. Also, is it out of sync when previewed within VP or just when exported?

If just this video, I'm wondering if the audio and video tracks have become unlinked and then knocked out of alignment somehow.

To restore sync, right-click video of a clip in the timeline and UNLINK AUDIO - assuming that the clip originally was linked as with most video files.

You can then drag the video or the audio of that clip into sync.

If a clip snaps back to its original location, hold down <alt> while dragging.

Regularly FILE|SAVE PROJECT AS, with an incremented number or different name so as not to overwrite earlier work.
