bcmusicman i am wondering if it is possible in Photopad to make a selection transparent using 'fill'?. i am trying to take a black background on a picture and 'remove' it so all you see it the subject of the picture....
elk Hello, In this case, you may select the area you want to remove and then, go to Tools menu and remove the black color using the Color Removal tool. For additional information, you may click on this link: http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/photopad/win/layer_colorremoval.html Regards.
bcmusicman thanks elk.. if i try to remove all the color (black) then it takes the color from the picture i want to keep as well.... i am just trying to remove the background color. i am using the wand tool to make the selection around the picture. is there a better way to select that?
elk Hello, The selection tool you use may depend on the shape of the area you want to select. In case the color removal tool does not work on that specific image, you may select the area you want to remove and then, hit Delete key. Regards.
