I have this card working in an old PII 400 machine. I am trying to upgrade it to a brand new P4 machine. The motherboard is a Tyan Tomcat i915. When I try to install the WAVE drivers, the machine freezes everytime. The file that it is trying to copy at that moment is the Dspcmd.600 file. I have tried disabling all of the onboard devices and moving it to all of the different PCI slots in the MB. Nothing has worked. I am able to install it in Safe Mode, but then the computer won't boot. I also made sure that the MB was running the latest bios. Any suggestions?
