borate Both input sources for WP - master volume and Windows mixer - are affected by the speaker volume control. Is there a way to instead input directly from the audio bus, ahead of that control?
Chris75 Hello borate, sadly the audio source on Wavepad would be affected by the speaker's volume control unless you use an external soundcard or mixer to feed the audio into the computer which may bypass the speaker's control. I have tested this using a Creative Soundblaster E5 external soundcard and regardless the volume on the speakers the audio will obey the source (E5 soundcard).
borate Thanks Chris; as I thought. Another device on the PC does input its audio without regard to the volume mixer. Too bad WP can't do the same.
