sound track has no detail

my sound is fine i can hear things just fine and so can other people on other computers but with max zoom this is what the sound bar thing looks like

i just reformatted my pc and it use to have a LOT more detail to it

is there any way i can scale it up or something? i need to see it to tell where to cut the tracks (more than 1)

EDIT dont worry i worked it out.. it something to do with how loud it is all tho you can hardly hear the difference

While Videopad has a minimal normalize function, you might want to run sound files through WAVEpad prior to editing, to ensure equal and maximum levels. VP audio can be converted to independent WAV files, manipulated in WAVEpad, then replace the original audio in Videopad.
